Utah CDC is a Certified Development Company (CDC) that works as a partner with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and a private‐sector lender, to assist small businesses in financing up to 90% of the purchase of long‐term fixed assets, such as land, building (existing and new construction), and equipment. Primary goals include job creation and public policy changes.


Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund

The Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund is a private, non‐profit, multi‐bank community development financial institution, (CDFI), whose mission is to provide financing and management support to entrepreneurs in start‐up and existing firms that do not have access to traditional funding sources – in particular, those who are socially and economically disadvantaged. UMLF works to help launch or expand small businesses in Utah with loans from $1,000 to $25,000 to help people with low to moderate incomes.
